In most cases, our initial work with a community begins with the preparation of a Comprehensive Plan. Following adoption of the plan document, we work with local officials to craft the land-use regulations which will achieve the community goals that evolved from the Comprehensive Plan.
While this is an optimum sequence for establishing a long term planning program, many local governments have a need for more focused services - such as the preparation of ordinance amendments or planning and enforcement programs.
